What is respectful footwear?

Respectful footwear is designed to respect the natural development of children's and adults' feet. It has a wide toe box, thin and flexible sole, no drop (height difference between heel and toe) and does not interfere with the way the feet move.

How do I choose the right shoe size?

On each model's page you will find instructions on how to correctly measure your foot and choose the size based on the internal length of the shoe. If you have any questions, send us your measurements and we will help you choose.

Are all items in stock in the physical store?

Most products are available in-store, but stock may vary. If you want to make sure we have the item before you go, send us a message or give us a call.

Can I exchange it if it doesn't fit?

Yes! We accept exchanges and returns up to 14 days after receipt, as long as the item is in perfect condition and in its original packaging. See our Terms and Conditions for more information.

Do you ship nationwide?

Yes, we ship to mainland Portugal and the islands. Shipping is free from a certain amount (indicated at checkout).

Can I pick up my order at the physical store?

Sure! Just choose the "Pick up in store" option at checkout. We'll let you know as soon as it's ready for collection.

How does the childcare section work?

Do you have expert advice in store?

Yes. We have the support of ruut family professionals in areas such as pediatric physiotherapy, breastfeeding, nutrition and newborn care. You can schedule a session or clarify any questions with us.

What is the ruut family?

It is a group of professionals who work with us to support families in the various stages of parenthood. They are available for in-store consultations, events and training.

Is it possible to request gift wrapping?

Yes! You can select the gift wrapping option at checkout or order in-store. We do everything with great care.

What is the delivery time for my order?

After the order is processed, shipping usually takes 24 to 48 business hours .

Processing time depends on the type of product:

  • Products to order: about 1 week
  • Pre-sales: the deadline is indicated on the product page
